Back from a short break and ready to get going with our summer horses. We start today at Thirsk with two runners on the level, both trained by Mick Appleby.

Sampers Seven is first up in the 2:52.

Thirsk has one of the most biased draws in the country over five furlongs, you need to be drawn high but our two runners both come out of stall 3. It's not a max field for Sampers Seven which helps a little but we'll have to get across at some point in the race.

Navello looks primed to strike after what could have been two runs to come down a few pounds and a setup for today's race. As ever, Sampers will bid to make all.

Then in the 4:52, Andromedas Kingdom makes her debut for us.

A very cheap buy from Ireland, we hope Andromedas can be a fun horse through the season. Stall 3 in a 20 runner field will make things tough, we'll hopefully learn plenty about our new recruit.
