Not a huge amount has caught my eye this week whilst it’s been busy behind the scenes hence no updates since Monday. However the racing is better this afternoon and I’m keen on a horse running at Uttoxeter.

Buckboru priced at 9-2 runs in the 2:20. 

She’s been on my radar since running a nice race behind our very own Rhythm Star back in January of this year. Buckboru looked like a mare that’s needed racing experience whilst has run like she needs a trip on bad ground, for the first time this all happens today and money is around for the horse.

The step up in trip looks perfect whilst this isn’t a strong race, I don’t think Buckboru is the type that does anything quick but she looks a genuine grinder and this race will take plenty of getting.

I’m quite hopeful the Laura Young trained mare can outstay her rivals and go close at a nice price, back her EW.
