Ebony Express has come out of the Greatwood Hurdle in good form, unfortunately the race went wrong before the race had even started for us. Another horse was messing about at the start and kept backing into Ebony, this resulted in our lad who was very fresh anyhow jumping off to a flyer and always doing a bit much in front. Ebony did v well to lead the field until two out be he’d done his running by then.

It was still a brilliant day though and we watched Sprinter Sacre come back to something like his best. The crowd gave Sprinter Sacre a huge cheer on his return to the winner’s enclosure, it seemed everybody was delighted he put in such a performance.

Kristjano 7:40 Chelmsford could be well in off its current rating, trained by Chris Wall the horse was unlucky last time out “trouble in running” when fancied. The experienced Martin Harley takes over this evening and connections will be hoping for a clear passage through the race.
