Mountain Rescue ran a belter last night finishing 2nd, the horse is so genuine and doesn’t know how to run a bad race. He’s ran 7 times for us now winning twice and only finishing out of the prize money once when he was sick.

Mountain Rescue got caught in the final stride and beat in a photo, the horse that beat us had won around Ascot earlier in the year and tumbled down the weights since, he was well handicapped.

That’s him done for the season now holiday time, Chris Wall has done a great job with Mountain Rescue, he’s improved 10lbs and has proved to be an excellent buy. I’m sure we’ll have a lot more fun with him next year, maybe in some of the big handicaps.

Another runner today at Worcester, Greyed A makes his debut for us in the 5:40.

The race is warm and the top 3 in the betting will likely have the race between them, it’s very much a learning curve for us today. Greyed A will be seen at his best when he goes over a fence.
