We had a really good morning at the yard of David Dennis on Saturday, owners were made to feel very welcome whilst David explained and showed us his entire training setup. We even got to see a few horses take a dip in the equine pool. Kenobe Star & Included are both coming along well and not far off a run now.
Good racing this afternoon, Kempton has a cracking card that’s attracted big fields and some smart horses. It’s not surprising to see Paul Nicholls well entered up with the trainer’s title coming down to the wire.
Sandown at the weekend could be an epic meeting with Mr Mullins possibly bringing over some of his stable starts. Nicholls vs Mullins has made the headlines in the last few weeks and it’s great for racing.
I hope the trainers title stays in the UK.
I’ve not had a bet today but I’m not surprised to see Dnaneer “15-8” well supported in the 4:20 at Wolverhampton. The horse looks to have been crying out for five furlongs after showing plenty of speed in previous runs. The drop back in trip on handicap debut looks planned. If able to get away from a horrible draw Dnaneer might be able to lead these a merry dance from the front.
