I had a lovely morning on the Newmarket gallops yesterday watching our new flat recruit Kenobe Star been put through his paces. It was a glorious day with clear blue skies whilst is seemed every horse in Newmarket was making the most of the grass gallop being open on Warren Hill.

Kenobe Star worked nicely and did everything asked of him with ease, he’s very straight forward and trainer Chris Wall is more than happy with the horse. Kenboe Star will be ready to run soon as the flat season starts in April whilst will go jumping later in his career.

A few shares are left, please get in touch for details.

I mentioned last month Rod Trow who is Dr Newland’s assistant trainer was the first reserve for the Cheltenham Charity race but would ride at Newbury later this month if he didn’t get in at the Festival. Well, the call came earlier this week that somebody has pulled out of Cheltenham so Rod’s in!!!

I’m delighted for Rod as he’s working really hard, riding out most days plus it’s fulfilling a life time ambition to ride in a horse race. Please see Rod’s just giving page link below, all monies raised are for the injured jockeys fund, any donation is hugely appreciated.

Keep an eye out for Saturdays update as I might have a 33-1 EW antepost Cheltenham selection.
