It looks like a busy end to the year for owners, it’s possible we could have 3 runners this week with the first one of them coming today. Ilovemints runs in the 2:05 at Ffos Las.

Despite falling at Uttoxeter on hurdles debut, Ilovemints showed no ill effects and came out of the race fine. Ilovemints isn’t the first horse in the world to fall on jumping debut nor will she be the last. It’s not an ideal start but these things happen.

Minty has done a lot more schooling since her Uttoxeter fall, she jumps well at home and always has done so.

Today’s race is mainly just about putting in a clear round. The going will be very hard work at Ffos Las and what handles it best will be the winner. Ilovemints won her bumper on soft going, however it’s safe to say she would enjoy a nicer surface.

Touch wood Ilovemints has learned a lot from her debut effort and she runs a respectable race.
