The Cheltenham Open Meeting was dominated by Philip Hobbs & Richard Johnson, six winners across the 3 days that included Garde Le Victoire’s victory in the valuable Greatwood Hurdle on Sunday.

Uxizandre put in a near perfect round of jumping when taking the Shloer Chase. Trained by Alan King Uxixzandre could be a lively outsider for the Champion Chase especially if Sire De Grugy is out for the season and with Sprinter Sacre yet to be seen the race is beginning to look quite open.

Were hoping Rhythm Star will run over the weekend at Huntingdon or Towcester, it’s likely Star will go wherever the best ground is, 50 / 50 at the moment.

Our latest recruit Ebony Express has taken to jumping with aplomb and is pleasing Dr Newland. Ebony Express loves heavy ground so with the weather forecasters informing we could have a very wet winter we certainly won’t be worried. We hope Ebony will make his hurdle debut in around 3 week’s time whilst it's his owners day at Dr Newland’s yard on Saturday, were very much looking forward to watching him work.

1 single share is now left in the horse.

Celtic Fashion, Grand Maestro & Dino Mite are all also fine and enjoying a break or learning to jump, Dino Mite's schooling is going well and she's now doing some fast work. Dino looks exciting for fillies juvenile hurdles with being a half sister to the top class Cockney Sparrow.

Dino Mite should also be out in around 3 week’s time.
