Kingman showed a devastating turn of foot on route to winning the St Jame’s Palace Stakes, held up in the last pair with his main rival Night Of Thunder dictating the pace it looked for a brief moment Kingman was set a fair amount to do. Jockey James Doyle never had a moments worry though as the horse canted into contention when asked for his effort and sprinted away from his rivals with any amount in hand.

There’s no doubt Kingman is a top class miler and was very unlucky not to win the English 2000gns, It’s hard to see what will beat him going forward based on yesterdays efforts.

It’s a tough 2nd day at Royal Ascot for betting purposes, I hope Treve wins the 3:45 and puts in a display like her brilliant Arc winning performance, her price is for the big hitters only though.

Intergral looks sure to run a nice race in the Duke Of Cambridge, 4:25. The filly will have needed her first run of the season but will be primed for today. The Sir Michael Stoute trained horse should turn the form round with Esoterique but at 5-2 in a tough race Integral is far from a lump on bet, I’ve just had a few quid on for bit of interest.

More of a watching brief this afternoon, however I will be shouting on Chili this evening and hope they turn over Spain.
