We had a brilliant evening at Aintree last night, Included won the competitive mares’ race in good style.

Included went into the race in very good form, she was bouncing at home and came back into training this season better than ever. Her work had been very good whilst Included was only 90% fit last night, she will tighten up for running.

Included jumped and travelled superbly, she had everything in trouble whilst still on the bridle. It was an exciting performance and one we always thought she was capable of. Included will go chasing now.

Logician was given a good mention on here yesterday, backed from 8-1 when posted into 3-1 favourite. Logician won the race despite the trip been the bare minimum he would require. Logician could be a St Leger horse in the making, he’s smart.

Not had much time to go through today’s racing as we’ve been at Dr Newland’s this morning with the owners of Competition & Trigger Nichol. Richard was in grand form as ever whilst owners watched their horses work.
