Sad news broke last night that trainer Alan Swinbank passed away suddenly earlier that day. I was fortunate enough to meet Alan a few times and he was a true gent. We purchased Ebony Express off Mr Swinbank and he couldn’t have been more helpful passing info on about the horse.

When Ebony Express went on to win the Imperial Cup, Alan was quickly in touch passing on his congratulations. Thoughts are with his family and all staff at the yard.

Here Comes When, is a horse that goes well fresh and handles soft ground. Trained by Andrew Balding, Here Comes When peaked at 116 and won off 113, he races off 103 this afternoon on his seasonal comeback.

Here Comes When looks very well handicapped, has a sound first time out record and handles soft going. The 14-1 EW on offer looks a big price and certainly worth a few quid. 4:05 York.
