We had a great day Aintree on Saturday. Watching the Grand National, live from the roof top owners viewing area was brilliant. As was Broughtons Admiral effort in the last race. We we’re delighted with our horse who just got beat in a photo finish for 4th place. His owners we’re a whisker away from being in the winner’s enclosure. Broughtons Admiral goes on his holidays now, he’s had a great first season running at some big meetings and picking up some nice prize money along the way.

Ilovemints also ran well at Chepstow, a decent 3rd place in conditions that wouldn’t have been ideal. Ilovemints is a work in progress mare, she’s on the right track now and will be plenty of fun through the coming months.

The Newmarket Craven meeting started yesterday and continues this afternoon, Cheltenham also race today and tomorrow.

Diese Des Bieffes must run well in the 2:05 at Cheltenham, priced at 5-2. Diese Des Bieffes is very consistent and holds solid form in good races, his effort when 5th at the Festival reads very well. This is a competitive race but Diese Des Bieffes looks set for a big run.

At Newmarket I’m told Qazyna  "priced at 2-1" has done very well over the winter. Trained by Roger Varian, Qazyna holds an Oaks entry. She’s held in huge regard but still a little green. Award Winning could be anything, the same applies to Feline Groovy.

You don’t know what you’re up against in such a race but a big run is expected from Qazyna. She’s a filly to keep on side even if she doesn't win today. Connections think she's very good. Put her in your tracker, might even be worth a £10ew for the Oaks at 66-1 before she runs this afternoon.
