Not a huge amount going on so far this week, however the racing on Saturday from Haydock looks fantastic. As it stands the 2015 Gold Cup Winner, Coneygree is due to make his eagerly awaited appearance.

The race “Betfair Chase” should be a cracker, Cue Card, God’s Own, Menorah and Silviniaco Conti are all set to run. Aidan Coleman is likely to take the ride on Coneygree with regular jockey Nico De Boinville on the side-lines.

West Of The Edge has come out of his win at Wetherby fine, the handicapper raised him 12lb for the effort. I’m not sure on plans yet going forward but we’ll look for a further race in approx. 3 weeks’ time.
