Good racing this week with the York Ebor meeting starting on Wednesday whilst it’s nice to go into the fixture with some ammo thanks to Manhattan Swing.

I was very hopeful the horse would win and he did just that.

There was never really a moment’s worry apart from the mistake at the last but it was an easy win and job done. A mistake was made by me too, a good bet was placed on Betfair at 15-8 only to watch the horse drift and return 9-4.

I was sure Manhattan Swing would be heavily backed as he was a standout selection and well clear of his rivals but for whatever reason he drifted. The price of 9-4 was big but I can’t complain as a decent bet was landed at slightly smaller odds.
