Competition is our only runner of the week, he heads to Market Rasen today and runs in the big Summer hurdle race of the season at 2:05.

Compy reverts to hurdles after running on the level recently. This is a big ask, but Competition always gives his all and he’ll find the pace of the race comfortable no matter how quick they go. If jumping well, Competition will still be on the bridle when others are pushed along.

If we can pick up some prize money, that would have been an excellent effort.

I’ll be cheering on Real World in the 1:50 Newbury. Real World won the Royal Hunt Cup at 25-1 when given on here at Royal Ascot. Up in trip by two furlongs, that won’t be a problem, I hope he goes in again.
