Order Of St George won the Ascot Gold Cup for trainer Aidan O’Brien, the horse was in a different league and won very easily. He's only a 4yo and could likely win the Gold Cup for the next five years if connections aim him at the race.

Even Song was another winner for the all-conquering team of Moore & O’Brien. Backed heavily all morning the result never looked in doubt. When the money is down from this yard it’s very rare the lads “pardon the pun” leave it behind.

A couple of 2nd for us yesterday with Prize Money EW and Mizzou. No harm done but it would have been nice to find another decent priced winner.

I’ve not had chance to go through Royal Ascot today as we have more important things happening at Market Rasen.

Milrow makes his hurdles debut, and debut for us in the first. The horse has taken well to jumping but this is his first day at school and you never really know how they will get on. The ground is a worry as Milrow has never run on turf “no fault of his own” never mind soft. We don’t have a clue if he will handle it.

Skylark Lady sets the standard and Stone Quercus has shown promise. The Philip Hobbs runner, Itsamysterytome is nicely bred and you can guarantee she will be well schooled. We hope Milrow can run well though and enjoy his first start over hurdles.
