We were delighted with Mountain Rescue last night at Leicester, he won nicely and was given a beautiful ride by William Buick. It’s not often everything goes to script but it did on this occasion, fast break, race handy, cut in before the bend and kick on ensuring the race was a proper test.

This was our first flat winner but we’ve not had many goes to be fair. Getting Mountain Rescue's head in front on just his 2^nd start since we purchased him is a great result.

I’m not sure where we go from here it will depend on what the handicapper does.

At some point this this season it would be nice to have a go in a hot handicap at a big Saturday meeting, large field and good prize money. Somewhere like York etc. That would be a great day out for his owners.
