Outstanding racing this afternoon, without a doubt one of the best days of the year. Champions Day at Ascot is good as any meeting you’ll see worldwide. Fantastic prize money and some of the best horses around running.

We have two runners today, Leoncavallo at Ffos Las in the Welsh Champion Hurdle plus Tinsmith having his final run before retirement at Wolverhampton this evening. Tom Scudamore will check the ground at Ffos Las before Leon runs. If it’s quicker than good, we’ll take Leon out.

Had no time to go through all the racing, one of those days to enjoy rather than get too involved. Mishriff who did us a favour at York last time would be my pick for a bet. He goes in the 3:50 and will be fresher than a few of his main rivals.
