A horse that did us a big favour last year runs again today in the very same race, Kingsmere was highlighted at 16-1 in the morning and duly hacked up by 10 lengths returning 12-1 sp.

Kingsmere is very talented but does have jumping issues whilst is getting on a bit now at the age of ten. However every season he wins one and it’s normally when fresh. Connections look like thieve gone the same route as per last year coming to Cheltenham in a decent race first time out, interestingly he’s been supported once again.

This race looks a bit more competitive this time around but providing Kingsmere arrives in the same form he can go very close. I backed him last night at 8-1, the horse is now 13-2 best price, I couldn’t put you off a few pounds EW.

If it does happen today keep with the selection next time out as it’s normally his 1^st or 2^nd outing when he takes a bit of beating.
