Angels Breath, the very well thought of newcomer from the Nicky Henderson yard, was pulled out yesterday because of the ground. Put this horse in your trackers, he’s very smart and could make an impact in March.

Fact Of The Matter was a nice winner for readers yesterday priced at 7-1. He jumped great and looks a natural around the Cross Country fences.

We have a runner at Doncaster today, The Green Ogre takes his chance in the first race. This is very much a learning outing for us. I bought the horse for just £3500 at the Ascot sales. Shrek as we call him is a big horse and perhaps more of a chaser. He will hopefully give his owners some fun days out through the season.

I like two horses this afternoon. I backed Rather Be earlier in the week EW at 6-1. He runs in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup at 1:55 Cheltenham. Now priced at 3-1, Caspian Caviar should go well.

Over at Doncaster I’m with another Nicky Henderson horse, O O Seven who takes his chance in the 3:20. The time to catch O O Seven is first time out, he also looks well handicapped. Plenty of money has been seen for the horse already, 3-1 into 6-4 at the time of writing.
