It’s Qipco British Champions day at Ascot, in my opinion today must be one of the best cards of flat racing ever put on, the races are quality from top to bottom. I’ve not had a bet as I just don’t have a clue where to start! Far easier flat meetings to punt at can be found each day, it’s a watch and enjoy fixture for me.
I’ve had a few bob on Truckers Glory at 3-1, 1:50 Ffos Las. The horse looks very well in on handicap debut and the Rebecca Curtis string are in decent form. Plenty of money has come for Truckers Glory, now best priced 7-4, he’s expected to go close.
At Wolverhampton this evening Niblawi looks to have a fair EW chance, priced at 11-2. The horse didn’t get any luck in running last time out but finished strongly once in the clear. Luke Morris takes over in the saddle this evening, granted luck in running Niblawi should go well.
I backed Kindly last time out but she ran into a well handicapped horse, on paper there doesn’t seem to be anything lurking in this race and hopefully she can make amends in the 6:15, odds of 3-1 looks fair.
