We were very pleased with Milrow who ran a career best at Stratford at the weekend. Milrow finished 3^rd in a 0-150 competitive race. He’s such a bonny horse that keeps winning his owners prize money. It will be tough for him this season off 128 but Milrow doesn’t seem to know that!

Glorious Journey was a nice debut winner highlighted on Saturday. He’s held in high regard and looks the part. Keep with this horse as Godolphin like him a lot.

A busy evening sums up Thursday, we have 3 runners in the space of an hour. Two runners at Uttoxeter and one at Haydock. It’s ladies’ day at Uttoxeter with music afterwards whilst Haydock is always a lovely place to have a runner at. Owners of all three horses are set for good night of entertainment.

Aldrin gets us started in the 6:55.

Buzz as we call him makes his hurdles debut, Tom Scudamore takes the ride. It’s Aldrin’s first day at school, he showed plenty of promise on the flat for Charlie Appleby and did so for us at Chester. Buzz is a big strong horse that we purchased with hurdles in mind. He’s schooled nicely so we’ll see how we go.

Trafalgar Rock goes next in the 7:30, chase debut.

Trafalgar Rock won over hurdles 9 days ago, he's schooled over a fence for the past month or so. Sam Twiston Davies rides. The run comes plenty quick enough, however there isn’t any more 0-120 chase races for a while so we take our chance. TR gives weight to his rivals and everything else has jumped fences in public. This is good little race that will take some winning.

Our last runner is Mountain Rescue at Haydock in the 7:40.

Another highly competitive race but that’s the level Mountain Rescue is now at. Mountain Rescue didn’t handle Sandown last time out and got un-balanced, hopefully Haydock will be more to his liking. We have a horrible draw, 12 of 12 but William Buick will be riding full confidence after his treble yesterday. If we can get handy from the stalls, I’m sure Mountain Rescue will run another solid race.
