We head to Lingfield today with Counsel, who makes his debut for owners and Mick Appleby at the same time.
Picked up cheaply in the summer, Counsel was a fair horse a few years ago but lost his way.

We've done our best to iron out a few issues, and we'll see how we go. Counsel is up against race fit horses, so will improve for running. Hopefully we'll learn a bit about him and see some promise.
