Super racing this afternoon, Cheltenham is very much centre stage where conditions will likely get tough as the day goes on. Plenty of rain is forecast through the day.
The Paddy Power Gold Cup is the feature at 2:15. I’ve had a few quid EW on Siruh Du Lac who makes his stable debut for one of our trainers, David Pipe.
Siruh Du Lac is already a very nice horse but if the yard can improve him, and I would expect them to do so, Siruh Du Lac has a race like this in him.
Priced at 10-1 he looks fair value if ready to go.
Son Of Camas “3:25” if tuned up after another wind op could be much better than a 133 rated horse. He’ll find this much easier than running in two Grade 1’s races. He’s a horse that Nicky Henderson has talked up in stable previews and should hopefully run well.
