The Doncaster St Leger meeting has seen pleny of good racing in the past few days. Today’s card is the highlight with the St Leger taking place at 3:35.

The turnout this afternoon is disappointing. Three, five runner races whilst the last sees a matchup. The St leger only sees eight runners take their chance. Logician is the short-priced favourite and rightly so. This son of Frankel is unbeaten in four starts and look a smart stayer in the making.

II Paradiso might be the EW value in the race priced at 10-1. His 3^rd place at York was a sound effort, beaten just over a length by Stradivarius who won again yesterday. Today’s slight drop in trip of a furlong will likely help and II Paradiso should run well.

I have the odd football bet but never really in the Premier League as apart from Man City & Liverpool, all the sides can beat each other. However, the 7-2 on Leicester City looks a big price against Manchester United who are in a right pickle.

The 9-4 available on draw no bet also looks worth a punt too. I’d be surprised if Solskjaer is still at United come end of the season.
