Very little to report on, more average racing in the past few days but we do have the excellent York Ebor festival next week.
A fair amount of the wet stuff has also come down in the past 24 hours so the going will be changing and this makes punting rather difficult. However Gale Force EW should go ok in the 4:20 at Nottingham.
The James Fanshawe trained filly bolted up by 8 lengths last time out and looked to have an awful lot in hand. She’s gone up a fair whack in the weights for the win “11lb” but there could be more to come and the fact that’s she’s finished 2nd on good to soft ground last year is a bonus.
This race is a big step up in class, interestingly though Gale Force holds a Group 2 entry so maybe connections have further hope she’s on the upgrade.
Priced at 11-2 a small EW bet could be ok in a open looking race.
