It was a cracking day for this news page yesterday with both selections Starluck & Any Currency getting the job done at lovely odds “13-2 & 8-1”, the double paid around 67-1.

From the emails received and texts off some shareholders who were at Cheltenham many paid for Christmas and more. Plenty of members won well over £1000 and I very much hope you might have collected a few quid too.

I’m not betting today, it’s a competitive day of racing whilst Doncaster might be off plus we don’t need to play after yesterday’s results.

On Sunday we’re making the long journey to Carlisle again with Ebony Express who will bid to follow up his debut win. It was touch and go on running as we didn’t really want heavy ground but we got wind of the race cutting up so Ebony Express will take his chance.

He’s going to be very short in the betting so it’s just a case of hoping he handles the ground and jumps nicely. Ebony will carry a penalty and wouldn't want it bottomless so it far from a done deal but we hope he can make it two from two.
