Aintree Grand National Meeting Day 3

Kateira got the job done yesterday and gave us a nice 5-1 winner, always going well and a fair return. Firefox would have been the icing on the cake, but Mystical Power was too speedy for him.

Grand National Day, not much stands out in the other races with plenty of horses running again after Cheltenham, which is something I try and keep away from.

The ground is drying and perhaps won’t be testing as thought, but it will be holding and maybe like running on glue. I still think it will be a proper stamina test and take some getting.

I tipped I Am Maximus on the newsletter last week, he looks to have a super chance. I wouldn’t rule out big runs from previous winners Noble Yeats and Corach Rambler, but the weight they carry could come into play at the business end.
