We had a great day at Warwick yesterday, West Of The Edge won the £18,000 feature race on the card by 8 lengths under Sam Twiston Davies.

It was a grand performance by horse and jockey, the outing confirmed WOTE requires heavy ground to be seen at his best. Last time out at Exeter, WOTE was in top gear from the word go and was never happy. Warwick couldn’t have been any different, proper heavy going and our horse loved it.

It was West Of The Edge 3^rd win of the season and 3^rd for us after purchasing him for just £14,000 last year. He’s been a great buy and Dr Newland has done a fantastic job with the horse. WOTE will now get in many of the valuable staying races.

West Of The Edge is now done for the season and will go on his holidays. His owners have a lot to look forward too.
