Some interesting racing this afternoon with some smart types making their seasonal debuts, Ptit Zig the Champion Hurdle 6th placed horse runs at Exeter as does Tara Point who looked a high class mare at Taunton back in April. Both are trained by Paul Nicholls who will be looking for a short priced double at a course he gives a lot of his better horses an outing at.

The jump racing really steps up a gear later in the week with the start of the Paddy Power Cheltenham meeting, the highlight is the Paddy Power Gold Cup where our syndicate trainer Jamie Snowden runs Present View the favourite for the race, more on him later in the week.

Jamie put Value Racing Club members on the right path on our recent stable day to watch Dino Mite work, he made it clear Monbeg Theatre would take the beating on Monday, the horse duly got the job done and was backed from 3-1 into 5-2. I had two emails from members who paid for their shares in Ebony Express with the winning info, thank you Mr Snowden!

Speaking of profitable information:

If you would like your card marked for the Paddy Power Gold Cup meeting I would highly recommend purchasing Mark Howard our club ambassador and Racing UK pundit big meeting updates, the first one “Paddy Power Meeting” will be emailed out on Thursday and costs just £6.00, less the two pints of beer.

Mark is the best form pundit in the UK in my opinion whilst the feature is packed full of trainer interviews and quotes you can’t find anywhere else plus you get Mark's thoughts on all the races at the Paddy Power meeting.
