Kelso was abandoned so we didn’t get to run West Of The Edge on Sunday. I don’t know where we go with the horse at this stage, but we’ll go through the program book and work something out.

We have a runner at Southwell today, Newt lines up in the 2:00.

Southwell got the go ahead early this morning despite the snow and frost. The fibresand has been harrowed through the night to keep the frost at bay. This will result in Southwell riding deep and slow, the kick back will likely be awful. Newt has never run on the fibresand so we don’t have a clue if she will handle it or not.

It looks a competitive race, but we’ll learn a bit if nothing else. This will be Newt’s last run before a well-earned holiday. She’ll go hurdling through the Summer of next year.
