The money for Rich Ricci’s Min for the Supreme Hurdle at Cheltenham looked a little hopeful considering his flat form in France, that was until yesterday however. Min made his debut at Punchestown and absolutely bolted up hard held, he never came off the bridle and showed a smart turn of foot.

Bookies were quick to cut his odds "4-1" for the Cheltenham race and you can’t blame them. Min looks another top class recruit for Mr Ricci who has an incredible string of horses to his name.

Aclaim highlighted on here on Wednesday made a winning debut and is one to keep an eye on if running through the winter. He’s held in high regard and should go on to better things.

Cheltenham today, as normal I’ve backed Any Currency in the Cross Country, he looks sure to go close and is well in now the race is off level weights. There’s a word around for Ultragold in the 12:35, Ultragold won first time out last year and has apparently had a breathing op over the summer.

A Hare Breath landed a huge gamble on seasonal debut and looks hard to oppose in the 1:10 but the price is short enough.

It’s a trappy racing this afternoon and I can't find anything at a bigger price.
