It was good to see Esteaming run well in the November handicap, my hunch wasn’t far off with connections saving the horse for this race. Esteaming ran a cracker finishing 3rd and rewarded the EW money at 16-1.

We have a busy few days coming up with runners at Taunton & Cheltenham this week, it will be good to get the winter horses out for their seasonal debuts.

I’ll be interested to see how Sikandar gets on today in the 3:30 at Bangor. Sikandar was a smart flat horse who looked ideal for National Hunt racing. I know connections thought he would run very well on debut but his jumping wasn’t great.

This could be a half decent Juvenile Hurdle, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sikandar showed a lot more, although a hood fitted is bit of a worry.
