Quick ground could see some strange results this afternoon. I wouldn’t have minded a few of our summer horses running, they would have got in some nice races with good money on offer and loved the going.

Love Envoi will be all the rage at Warwick in the 2:05. She’s never ran on good ground and although will likely be fine, you never quite know. In what should be a two-horse race, Theatre Glory will love the sound surface and might be worth risking a small bet and cause the upset.

Hitman was fancied by many for the King George, his chance went out the window as he bled during the race and was pulled up. It’s risky backing a horse after it bled but running first time back on nice ground is ideal.

If Hitman was to have a chance in the King George, he should go well in this providing he doesn’t bleed this time around, 2:25 Newbury.

The Skelton yard seems to target Saturday races, Hartur D’Oudairies, 3:48 Warwick looks to have every chance and is unexposed.

The Newbury bumper looks warm at 4:43.

Masaccio looks overpriced at 10-1 and is drifting which probably isn’t a good sign. His form is very good as was the run last time out after 622 days off. If Masaccio doesn’t bounce, he can outrun his odds and had a good EW chance.
