We had a good day at Market Rasen on Thursday, Aldrin won for his owners in grand style. Buzz was given a lovely ride by Charlie Hammond and won as he liked without coming off the bridle. The win was Aldrin's third from his last six starts, the horse has only run 7 times for us. David Pipe has done a great job with him.

Aldrin is learning and improving all the time, he's far from the finished article. It will be holiday time soon as Buzz enjoys the better ground, we might have a run on the AW beforehand though.

Tricky racing today but good racing, it’s the last day of the flat season. With soft ground at Doncaster I’ll be leaving that well alone.

Aintree holds a good fixture and sees some familiar names return. The likes of Wholestone, Un Temps Pour Tout & Unowhatimeanharry all make their seasonal debuts in the same race.

Nothing takes the eye from a punting point of view, it’s a watching brief for me.
