A great morning was had at Jamie Snowden’s yard on Saturday, the weather was kind and we were treated to Dino Mite jump 9 flights of hurdles under pro jockey David Crosse. All went well, this was the first time Dino had jumped full size hurdles but she got on with the job and improved as she went along.

Her work will be stepped up in the next few weeks in prep for her debut over hurdles and for her owners, lot's to look forward to with this young filly who is a half sister to Cockney Sparrow.

Not much joy with the selections on Saturday but with the weather as it was not surprising, Rock On Ruby looked a bet to nothing EW and grabbed 3rd place. Thankfully Irving got up after his final flight fall and was only winded in the Elite Hurdle that was won by Purple Bay.

Ardlui finished 6th in the November Handicap, most bookies were paying the first 5 so missing out by one was a bit annoying. The ground at Doncaster looked horrible, quite a few jockeys said it was the worst ground thieve ever ridden on, this was backed up by horses been pulled up in six furlong races!

Just a few shares are left in our new horse Ebony Express who will be trained by Gran National winning trainer Dr Richard Newland, a stable day has been arranged for the 22nd of this month, watch the horse work and a chance for new members to meet Dr Newland and his team. If you would like to be part of proper horse racing ownership please do get in touch for further details.

Rhythm Star has come out of her Uttoxeter run fine and will be out again in 2 / 3 weeks, she also looked in good form on Saturday as did the Paddy Power Gold Cup favourite Present View. It’s a big week for Jamie and his team we wish them all the best.
