A crazy day of racing and far too many big meetings taking place. York, Ascot, Chester and Newmarket all on the same day doesn't make sense. Jockeys are in short supply today that’s for sure.

We head to Ascot with a runner in the £75,000 Heritage Sprint at 3:35. Boundless Power takes his chance.

Any rain or a downpour that hits would be very welcome, the ground is drying up and although Boundless Power is fine on a quicker surface, he might need six furlongs rather than five on such ground.

This is a step up in class for Boundless Power but he deserves a crack at such a race. It will be a great day out for his owners.
