Newton Abbot this evening with Pisgah Pike in what looks the race of the Summer so far. This is a cracking handicap chase that wouldn't look out of place at Sandown in December.

Good prize money is on offer too, with £22,500 up for grabs.

Pisgah Pike has been a super horse for his owners, it will be harder for him this season as he's taking on season chasers out of novice company. There looks to be plenty of pace on, whilst the top two in the betting are hold up horses. Pike goes well fresh, but it would need a career best on seasonal debut from him.

This will take plenty of winning, if we can pick up some prize money, that will have been a very good run from Pisgah Pike.
