We have a runner at Stratford this evening, Milrow takes his chance in the 7:00. Sam Twiston Davies takes the ride.

Milrow was brilliant for us in his first season, running seven times, winning twice and out of the first three just once over hurdles.

Milrow finished last year with a lofty rating of 128.

The handicapper tends to give juvenile hurdles a tough time and gets a bit carried away with the form. It’s possible Milrow is in the grasp of handicapper off his current rating and might need to come down a few pounds. We’ll find out where we are with the horse in this very competitive race.

I’ve been waiting for Glorious Journey to make his debut and he does so in the 1:25 at Newmarket. Glorious Journey is held in high regard and needs to be since he cost 2.6 million pounds!

His work is very good I hear. Hopefully he won’t run green and can payback some of his hefty purchase price. Odds of 11-10 is about, that’s short for a debut runner but he’s one to keep an eye on long term whatever the result today, he's smart.
