Horses certainly make fools out of you at times and Dino Mite did that today when winning at Taunton.
Dino put in a really nice improved effort and clearly the penny is starting to drop, she enjoyed the better ground and been ridden handy. We thought the trip would be on the sharp side based on feedback from her previous outings but the strong pace helped her out whilst it was good to Dino stick her head down and battle on the run to the line.
It’s a nice result for her owners whilst it’s been a great few days for VRC. Dino Mite’s broodmare value is now secured, she will always be worth a fair few quid and that's one of the reasons why we purchased her.
Day 1 of the Cheltenham Festival.
If you can’t beat them join them, I see no point in trying to get the Willie Mullins 4 horses beat, Douvan, Un De Sceaux, Faugheen “who I think could be a monster” & Annie Power.
The likely hood one of the above will get beat but working out which one and by whom is very difficult, little point wasting time on it with three more days to go.
I’ve put the four horses in a Lucky 15, accumulator, doubles & trebles, the accumulator pays 18-1. If all four come in happy days and the bookies will have been smashed, 3 winners is still a profit whilst just a double get’s fair chunk of the stake back.
That’s day one sorted, easy peasy, well it looks good on paper anyhow.
