We have our first runners of 2019 this afternoon, Trigger Nichol & The Green Ogre both head to Leicester races.

Trigger Nichol makes his chase debut in the 12:35. We’ve always thought Trigger Nichol would be a chaser in the making, if today’s conditions are suitable for him though we’ll have to wait and see.

Everything else in the race apart from Trigger and Lord Marmaduke have chase experience, this also looks a fair race with inform horses running. Early Du Lemo could be the one to beat. Hopefully Trigger Nichol will jump as he does at home and pick up some nice experience.

The Green Ogre runs later in the day at 2:20. Shrek as we call him finished 3^rd on his debut for us. He cost just £3500 and is a fun horse.

It’s possible Shrek could find things happening a bit quickly for him, ideally, he could do with softer ground. Bizarrely there isn’t much of that around. The Green Ogre seems in fair form, he's ready to run so we'll have a good day out.
