A quite week so far, we’ve not had any runners and won’t do so until the weather picks up a little. The going is heavy up and down the country. We only have West Of The Edge that runs through the mud, he ran recently though.
A lot of trainers give their horses flu jabs in January, it makes horses feel a bit off for a few weeks. That’s better than a possible season ending slog on awful going. Therefore, a lot of yards do the jabs in January as very few horses handle such conditions.
The 3rd & 4th placed horses in the Welsh National were highlighted on here and rewarded EW support.
I’ve not taken any interest in the jumps racing this week because of conditions. On the AW today, Make Music should go close in the 2:50 at Lingfield. I don't know anything about jockey, Jason Watson but touch wood he's worth the claim. 5-4 is available in a few places but that looks under pressure. Soul Silver looks the obvious danger.
A repeat of Make Music last effort should see her go well.
