Ebony Express ran flat at Sandown just like the yards other horses of late.
On the turn for home Ebony was cantering and looked good for a place but when asked for his effort the horse stopped quickly. The run was very similar to that of 4 or 5 others over the past few weeks. We need some cold hard frosts to wipe out any little bugs going round.
Rhythm Star was 3rd on chase debut and finished in the position we expected her to. Star jumped lovely and can now run against horses of her own grade. The winner of the race Kalane looks a class act and is expected to be a 150 rated mare come end of the season, keep on the right side of her.
Speaking of interesting horses Aclaim makes his debut this evening in the 5:40 at Kempton. Reports suggest Aclaim is above average and should be winning races soon if not tonight. This looks a warm maiden for the time of year but it will be interesting to see how Aclaim get's on.
