Ffos Las bound this afternoon with Rock On Harry who makes his debut for us in the bumper at 4:55.
Like any national hunt flat race, it's impossible to know what you're up against. Not Long Left was a £200,000 purchase, he finished just behind a horse that Willie Mullins purchased for £310,000. You'd like to think he will be smart and have a big future.
Kioto Sun cost £68,000, the stable like winning bumpers and have a good record in them. I hear Benny Silver is held in fair regard and has been supported along with Ito Ditto.
Rock On Harry cost 20k, so a bit cheaper!
He jumps well but blowing the cobwebs away in a bumper made sense. He can be keen at home so a hood is worn. If settling and not too fresh, hopefully Rock On Harry will show some promise. Whatever the result he'll be a lot better over a hurdle.
