Two great two days had at Aintree, plenty of laughs, beers and some amazing sights. Watching Vatour fall wasn’t so amazing though when you’ve gone heavy on the winning distance plus waiting on the Cue Card, Annie Power, Vatour treble.

Amazingly Vatour fell, got up and still finished 25 lengths ahead of God’s Own albeit rider less. I’ve not checked but no doubt there’s something in the small print that says the jockey must still be on top for the bet to count even though the distance was correct!

All about the Grand National today, I’ve backed, Many Clouds, Saint Are, Goonyella and The Druids Nephew.
