Trafalgar Rock finished 3rd at Worcester on Tuesday. That was the best we could hope for as TR was giving an awful lot of weight away to every runner and was up against an ex 140 horse that was back on song. Giving well over a stone to Vintage Vinnie would have required a World Hurdle type of performance!!

Trafalgar Rock has run 4 times for us since we purchased the horse, winning twice and in the money on his other two outings. He'll have one more run this season before a well earned break.

Day 2 of the Doncaster St Leger meeting, the racing is much better today with some nice horses running and decent field sizes

I backed Mubtasim at York but he ran under par, however he came back with a problem that has now hopefully been fixed. Mubtasim is worth a further chance this afternoon in the 3:40. The ground is a worry as the selection has never ran on anything bar quick going so we’re taking a chance on that. The 11-2 EW about the William Haggas horse looks ok, touch wood he handles some cut.

Poet's World in the 4:15 looks like he could be a potential Group horse in the making, if that's correct he should go very close in this.
