Twilight Son won the Betfred Sprint Cup and kept his unbeaten record intact. Trained by Henry Candy this sun of Kyllachy is now 5 from 5 and looks a very exciting sprinter. Apparently it’s not a done deal the horse will race on as a 4yo but it's hoped he will line up in the Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot.

My fancy for the race Danzeno who I backed antepost at 25-1 finished 6^th beaten five lengths. Unfortunately things didn’t go right once again for the horse and it’s all becoming a little frustrating. Danzeno needs cover as he holds one big turn of foot, in his last few races Danzeno was slow away and lost his chance form the stalls so I’m guessing connections have doing plenty of practise on breaking level.

For the first time Danzeno pinged the stalls and ended up in front, I was then surprised he was allowed to bowl along on the far side and use himself up. It was fairly clear after a few furlongs Danzeno was going to quick and that showed in the last furlong as he had nothing left to give.

Danzeno is also entered in the Champion Sprint Stakes, I’m still confident he can land a big one when things drop right but I keep saying that. One last chance?
