We've not had any runners this week, it’s been a rare few days off and time to catch up on a few admin duties. The past month has been good, the Value Racing Club horses have won 4 races. We should be back to business next week with 2 possible runners.

Some good racing today, 3 horses take the eye.

Roussel should go well in the 2:20 at Sandown. His Royal Ascot second is good form and just about the best on paper. Stall 9 isn’t ideal though.

I backed Kidmenever at Royals Ascot and put him up as a EW selection on here. I thought we had the race won a furlong out but Kidmenever got caught close home and maybe hit the front a bit early. This race well take some winning "3:25 Sandown" whilst Kidmemever doesn’t meet a few of these on great terms. I'm sure he’ll run well but it’s frustrating we don’t have any EW places with just the 7 runners.

Over at Doncaster in the 3:35, Sun Lover might be the best bet of horses mentioned. A good second on seasonal debut in a decent race at York, I’m hearing Sun Lover has improved since and should go well today.

The race has a trappy feel to it but hopefully Sun Lover might be the improver in the race, a bit of 13-8 is available but not much.
