We’re off to Sandown today with Ebony Express who runs in the big race of the day, The Imperial Cup.

Ebony Express was running a nice race in the Betfair Hurdle last time out but was brought down two out, he wouldn’t have won but jockey Will Kennedy thought Ebony would have finished 5^th or 6^th.

Thankfully the horse seems none the worse for the tumble and we hope his confidence has not been affected. Today’s race was the obvious plan after Newbury but EE did have a setback this week, it was touch and go if the horse could run today but Dr Newland and his team have done a great job and Ebony Express will take his chance this afternoon.

It’s a race that’s clearly going to take a huge amount of winning but with luck in running we think Ebony Express is capable of a big effort and were hopeful he gives his owners a fantastic day out at another top class meeting.

I’m not putting up any selections today, with Cheltenham just round the corner and a few more bets to highlight on here I’m keeping my powder dry this afternoon.
