It’s been a quite week with most of the turf fixtures wiped out due to waterlogged ground. Some of the pictures racecourses have been put on social media have made interesting viewing, Stratford & Huntingdon are lakes!

The Aintree Grand National meeting starts on Thursday of next week, the last thing we want is a heavy ground National. Let’s hope the weather picks up soon and stays dry in Liverpool.

There won’t be an update on here tomorrow as we’re in Newmarket watching Mountain Rescue & Spiritually. Both horses will work in front of their owners on the famous Newmarket heath. We always have a good time in Newmarket, quite a few owners meet this evening for a few drinks and a stop over.

We might have a couple of runners next week but it will depend on the weather.

I hope a new recruit will be arriving from Ireland next week. A private deal has been agreed after the horse vetted clear yesterday. There are a few more bits to sort but hopefully it will all go through. Shares will be available in this 5yo who will be a 3 mile chaser in the making. Keep an eye out for updates.
